{ Out & About }

I'm very excited that The Black Keys are bringing the world tour of their new album Turn Blue to New Zealand next April (go here for more about the tour). If you're a fan of blues inspired rock & roll, extremely good looking guitars and great lighting shows, then I'll see you there.

One of my favourite moments from the last Vector Arena show was when a gigantic disco ball dropped from the rafters, bathing the entire stadium in an ethereal glow that almost eclipsed the amazing guitar and vocal work of lead singer Dan Aurebach.

I'm really looking forward to seeing some older heavyweight tracks like Lonely Boy, Gold On The Ceiling, Little Black Submarines and I Got Mine mixed with the new album classics Weight Of Love and Turn Blue. The only downside is having to wait seven months to see the show

These photos were taken by Noah Abrams on their last tour – a fun job indeed!
