On Tuesday night, Holly, Dave and I were lucky enough to get tickets to the Style Eat Serve event organised by Dish Magazine, Fisher & Paykel, and us - Citta Design.
All three of us having young children, it is a rare occasion that we get to dine out and experience delicious food and wine such as was served that night. Members of the wider Citta Design team, along with Muck floral, had spent the day styling the event and we popped along in the evening to enjoy the fruits of their labour! The space looked fantastic.
Food writer and stylist Kelly Gibson, of the Bonnie Delicious blog, prepared our beautiful dinner during a live cooking demonstration. She talked us through how to make each dish not only taste great, but how to make it look good too. Kelly was a natural host and very relaxed as she cooked. We all agreed that she would be the perfect friend to sit down and enjoy a nice glass of bubbly with.
The three of us had a fantastic night, and went home with full tummies and smiles on our faces. We look forward to the next event like this.
