{ Out & About }

Last Thursday evening a lovely friend of mine Davina Harper invited me to the launch of the new DULUX COLOUR FORECAST for 2016 called the DESIGN AGE. It was such an interesting evening hearing Creative Director, Bree Leech, talk about the four themes she presented. After much consideration of European forecasts that largely evolve from the 'Salone Di Mobile' furniture show in Milan, they create themes and palettes that will translate well in the southern hemisphere.

I have picked my two favourite themes and palettes. The first called BIOFRAGILITY which has a delicate, raw, natural and chalky feel about it. Think soft and moody pastels.

The second theme is called RETROREMIX which has a post modern flavour from the '60s and '70s.
It is fun, bold and quirky and the combinations of colours is what makes it contemporary and interesting.
