We had a lot of fun working with painted text, for our Winter 2015 collection, Deco Deco. There is something so pleasing about painting in luscious black ink, but it's not easy creating a perfectly balanced, flowing and legible word! Needless to say I had to paint sheet after sheet until I chanced upon the well-formed words I was looking for.
In the end I came up with a cheeky 'oui/non' concept which was applied to pillowcases, coin purses and a cushion, plus a tongue-in-cheek romantic phrase meaning 'I left my heart in Paris', which was printed onto a tea towel, and a cute card for the quirky romantics out there.
