WONDERFUL WOMAD
As cyclone Pam descended on the east coast of New Zealand, the sun shone brightly on New Plymouth, just in time for WOMAD. I spent three great days swaying, swimming and sampling food in Taranaki.
Brooklands Park provided a relaxed atmosphere for the three day festival which made it a really enjoyable experience. The stand out acts for me were Lake Street Dive, Bombino and Youssou N'Dour. I can honestly say I can't wait to return next year with the kids!
