For our winter 2015 collection we worked a lot with hand painted designs using India ink and gouache. Over the next while we will be sharing some photos we took during the design process last year, of some of these designs in the making.

Sally took these pictures while I was painting my Algiers design. At the time I had no idea what it was going to be used for, besides a cushion cover; in the end it was also applied to a lampshade and a cosmetic bag. Even after all these years as a designer I still get a thrill when I see these original paintings translated into PROPER THINGS! So satisfying! And to then think of people buying these items and enjoying them in their own lives – even better!
