{ This Week in the Office }

This week, we have been discussing how to add texture to some cushion designs we are working on, and thought that appliqué or embroidery would be a nice way to achieve this. I think embroidery is often seen as being 'un-cool' and 'grandma-ish', but these pieces by Takashi Iwasaki are the complete opposite - the abstract subject matter and colour palette make it fresh and contemporary. I am excited to see more.
