The Rolling Stones wowed a crowd, young and old (but mostly old), on Saturday night and I was very happy to be a part of it.
They certainly can move for a group of over 70 year olds and reeled out a whole pile of classics with the last six songs of the set being Gimme Shelter, Jumping Jack Flash, Sympathy For The Devil, Brown Sugar, You Can't Always Get What You Want and Satisfaction closing out the show, thus ensuring my dad got his money's worth.
The appearance of ex-guitarist Mick Taylor was a great surprise and with Bill Wyman appearing in other recent shows this really is looking like the last time the Stones will tour the world – but never say never with The Rolling Stones...
Dave.
