With summer just around the corner and daylight savings making the evenings longer, it’s really starting to feel like long, hot days at the beach aren’t far away! New Zealand has some of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, so we’re pleased to be able to help preserve them by partnering with Sustainable Coastlines. This year we’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help fund clean-up projects, with $5 from the sale of every beach towel going towards the charity.
With $10,000 Sustainable Coastlines could fund:
- 1,000 native seedlings and planting events to clean-up our waterways.
- Reusable gloves and sacks for 2,200 volunteers to clean-up beaches
- 134 of Sustainable Coastlines’ proven educational presentations to schools and community groups.
