When I was in Hanoi last year, my mum and I came across a pokey little art store with stacks and stacks of original paintings, sketches and prints by local artists.
I fell in love with these sweet little cards featuring simple portraits of women from various ethnic minority groups in the northern regions of Vietnam. My mum and I are fascinated by all the different fashions of these women, some of which involve some pretty outrageous things like huge head-dresses with long hair wrapped and weaved into them… it's exciting coming across new cultures that are so creative and inspiring with their dress.
I bought these thinking of christmas cards but I still have them all – they are too lovely to separate and give away!
