So, instead of my usual Style Bomb post, this week I decided to do something a little different…since I just got back from a trip to Hanoi, Vietnam! First time ever!

I pretty much spent the entire time in Hanoi's characterful Old Quarter, a small and buzzing section of the city with a LOT of people, animals and life packed into it. It was amazing! Such a busy, charming, romantic, interesting, thought-provoking, colourful place. I found it delightful in so many ways! Here's a little taster…

We are busy putting together the colour palette for our summer 2014/15 collection. Above is a peek at the beautiful selection of colours head designer Imogen has chosen.

{ Pop-up store now open! }

Our very first pop-up store has opened it's doors down at Britomart. Pop down and check out the cool visual components inside and out of the store, including floor graphics, neon signs, metallic gold, fluoro pink and our new summer range!

In my opinion, you can never have too many books. Especially books full of beautiful patterns and dazzling colours like this one, featuring the work of iconic Marimekko designer Maija Isola (1927-2001).

Titled 'Maija Isola. Art, Fabric, Marimekko', this book celebrates the textile work of Maija, who designed a staggering 500 prints for Marimekko over a 40 year period, including their most popular design of all time - Unikko.

This month In My Humble Home

Spring has to be my favourite season of all - ditch that scarf for a tee, test out those jandals and get amongst the garden! And after such a beautiful weekend in Auckland I can't help but think Summer isn't too far away.

Over the last month we've been concentrating our efforts on the garden and getting things in the ground ready for spring. I freely admit I'm a total geek when it comes to the garden. Sometimes I just sit and stare longingly at it, willing it to grow faster. I almost think it might be working because everything is sprouting and blooming and I love it! {Yes, I told you I was a geek}.
