International Shared Lunch

Emma whipped up a storm with her Chocolate Lamingtons (pictured) for Citta Designs annual International Shared Lunch at head office.

We had a diverse range of dishes from Korea, Nuie, Holland, Germany and Fiji alongside some traditional kiwi fare and some delicious 'hippy' corn bread.

Chromatic Typewriter

Check out this Chromatic Typewriter that paints rather than writing. Tyree Callahan, a painter, transformed a 1937 Underwood Standard typewriter in to a device that uses oil paint rather than ink to create paintings.


"The idea for the Chromatic Typewriter came about one day in the studio as I was struggling along with a watercolor. I had an old Olivetti typewriter laying around and I thought to add some text to the watercolor. I rolled the watercolor into the carriage and started typing and that's when the inspiration struck."

A couple of weeks ago Leanne Moore, Editor of Your Home & Garden, and I went down to the Auckland Waterfront to photograph our limited edition Flux printed tote bag.  I wanted to share this snap I took of the lovely Monica, our colleague and model for the Summer 2012/2013 campaign.
